Lidar Specifications

Ship-board Mie lidar consists of YAG laser, a Cassegrain type telescope and a scanning mirror. The analog output of the photo-multipier is digitized with high speed transient recorder. Signal to noise ratio is improved by the gate operation and the background subtraction.
