Wind tunnel test for measuring interaction effect of hybrid sails for advanced sail-assisted ships (Gallery, Marine Dynamics Research Group)

Aerodynamic forces and moments acting on each of four triangular hybrid sails and four rectangular hybrid sails with and without hull were measured. Total forces and moments acting of hull and sails were also measured. Test data tell interaction effect among hybrid sails and that between hull and sails.
