Open facilities

"Facility Open Day" We open our research facilities to the public for one day during Science and Technology Week (one week including April 18th every year) and one day during the ten-day Sea Campaign (July 20th-31st every year). For further details, please contact the Research Planning Desk in the Research Planning Office. Notice of Forthcoming Open Day As one of the events for Science and Technology Week, we open our research facilities to the public and display some of our day-to-day research operations. All members of the public are welcome to attend (admission free, no advance reservations). On the same day, the Electronic Navigation Research Institute and the Traffic Safety and Nuisance Research Institute (inside the same enclosure as the Institute) and the adjacent National Aerospace Laboratory will also be open to the public. Open Facilities and Laboratory Equipment All facilities used for research by the Ship Research Institute. Stamp Rally Each site visited will have its own separate rubber stamp. Free gifts will be given to all visitors who collect stamp impressions from all four Research Institutes. * The Institute's restaurant will be open for lunches.
