CO2 Sympo '07

GENERAL INFORMATION

The Japan Railway Construction, Transport and Technology Agency (JRTT) and the National Maritime Research Institute (NMRI) will hold an International Symposium on CO₂ Storage at Sanjo Conference Hall in the University of Tokyo on 5th, March 2007 (Monday).
The storage of CO₂ is one of the greenhouse gas control technologies, where CO₂ is captured from flue gas of fossil fuels and injected into deep sea or underground space to be sequestered from the atmosphere.
The scope of the symposium is to exchange knowledge on ocean and geological storage of CO₂ and to encourage research and development relevant to the CO₂ storage.
