Abstract
The objective of the Super Eco-Ship project is to develop novel ship design with a gas turbine and a contra-rotating podded propulsor driven by electric motors. It is expected as a key for the innovation of domestic transport system and coastal ships. Improvement of energy efficiency and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions are also expected.
