The Kriso VLCC was conceived to provide data for both explication of flow physics and CFD validation for a modern (ca. 1997) tanker ship with bulb bow and stern.  Two stern variants were designed, however, only  KVLCC2 will be used for this workshop.   Experimental data is from wind-tunnel tests and the test conditions are for a bare hull fixed model.   No full-scale ship exists.
