This site shows the statistical results of winds and waves around Japan, which are analyzed by NMRI. The statistical data are based on the numerical weather prediction of 10 years, from February 1994 to January 2004, calculated by Japan Weather Association and these are composed of significant height, significant period and peak direction of waves, and mean speed and direction of winds in 2 minutes interval in space and 12 hours interval in time.
