Notes:

1.  Comparison Error, E=D-S, where D is the data value, and S is the simulation value.  E% is obtained by normalizing by benchmark, i.e., E%=(D-S)/D

2.  U_V = sqrt(U_D²+U_SN²) is the validation uncertainty [see equation 33 of  Stern et al. (1999)]

3.  U_D is the data uncertainty

4.  U_SN is the simulation numerical uncertainty [see equation 8 of Stern et al. (1999)]

5.  Participants need to provide their values of U_SN, U_V, and E.
