The workshop was organized by the Center for International Cooperation on March 11th 00:30 to 02:00 UTC online.
Around 30 persons from 16 countries and 2 international organizations attended in the workshop presenting the latest results of the research on In-Water Performance of Lifejackets.
The workshop started with the opening address from Director General, Dr. ABE giving a brief introduction to NMRI.
Dr. MIYAZAKI gave the presentation on "Experimental research on righting performance of lifejackets with clothing."
Then Dr. KURODA spoke on "Study on method of predicting righting phenomena influenced by clothing."
During the discussion after the presentations, there was Q&A on the publication of the results of the research. Then the future plan of the research was addressed by Dr. OTA.
