1. Basic Concept
National Maritime Research Institute ("NMRI"), National Institute of Maritime, Port and Aviation Technology is collecting information on the users visiting the websites whose URL include "https://www.nmri.go.jp/" or " https://library-search.nmri.go.jp/ " (the "Websites") to the extent necessary to operate smoothly the services provided on the Websites such as the delivery of information via the Websites, the acceptance of various inquiries and opinions. 3. Restriction of Use and Provision
NMRI promises not to use the collected information for the purpose other than the purpose of use as set forth in Clause 2 and not to provide the collected information to any third party, except in the case that (a) NMRI is requested to disclose the collected information based on laws and regulations; (b) NMRI finds illegal acts such as unauthorized access and threat; and (c) NMRI finds other special reasons; provided, however, that NMRI may publicize the statistically processed information.

NMRI promises to take necessary measures for preventing divulgation, loss or damage of, and managing properly the collected information.
