Local Exchange

NMRI promotes cooperation with Mitaka City and neighboring municipalities and provides elementary and junior high school students with NMRI tours, work experience programs, and delivery lectures on the sea and ships.
In addition, NMRI actively contributes to the local community by utilizing its various research capabilities and technologies in areas such as barrier-free access and environmental issues.
