Enhancement of tank test methods for evaluating ship performance

The Actual Sea Model Basin is equipped with 382 wave-makers all around its circumference. By precisely controlling the movement of each wave-maker, we can draw letters and patterns on the water surface with waves. The video shows the 'concentrated wave' which assembles waves on a single point on the water surface, and the Chinese Characters for Japanese new era name 'Reiwa'.
