Calculation of Motion of a Recreational Fishing Boat in Waves Using Fluid Analysis Software
High-speed passenger vessels and fishing vessels may experience severe hull motions when navigating high speeds in waves. This group is investigating a motion estimation method that does not rely on model tests to identify hazardous events. The video introduces the calculation of the motion of a recreational fishing boat in waves using the fluid analysis software “NAGISA” developed by the CFD Research Group of NMRI.
