Let's discuss the structure of the fish robots. What is the better power sourse? What type is better body shape?
My information of several previous prototype fish robots are shown here.

"Dry Land" Fish Robot, Prototype PPF-01

What type mechanism is suitable to simulate the real fish? The PPF-01 is designed and manufactured in order to discuss the link mechanism mainly.

Previous Prototype Fish Robot, PPF-02

The PPF-02 uses pulse motors for the power source.

Previous Prototype Fish Robot, PPF-03

I hope to work the fish robot in the water. The PPF-03 can swim in the water, because parts of power motor and source are been waterproof. It uses a rotated type D/C motor as the power source.

Previous Prototype Fish Robot, PPF-04

The PPF-04 is a small fish robot with 190 mm length. It can simulate complex motions with two servo motors of a radio control (R/C) model.

Previous Prototype Fish Robot, PPF-05

The PPF-05 uses a D/C motor as the power source. This fish robot is small and slim size.

Model Fish Robot, PPF-06i

The model fish robot named PPF-06i is introduced here. The PPF-06i has a micro computer.

Model Fish Robot, PPF-07i

The small fish robot named PPF-07i is introduced here. It has a simple structure and a micro computer.

Model Fish Robot, PPF-08i

The model fish robot PPF-08i aims to get high turning performance.

Student-Built Model Fish Robot in 2000

Here is a model fish robot which is built by Mr. Sugiura. He is a student of Tokyo Denki University.

Student-Built Model Fish Robot in 2001

Here is a model fish robot which is built by Mr. Kawai. He is a student of Tokyo Denki University.

Model Fish Robot, PPF-09
The model fish robot, PPF-09 aims to get a good performance of the 3-D motion including a turning and up^down motions.

Model Fish Robot, PPF-10 with 3-D Video Camera
The PPF-10 is an image model that has two CCD cameras for a 3-D video. It can not move and swim at all.

Student-Built Model Fish Robots in 2002

Two fish-like models which are built by Mr. Aoki and Mr. Sakurai. They are students of Tokyo Denki University and Hosei University.

Student-Built Model Fish Robots in 2003

Students built Fish-like models with microcomputers. What is a good swimmer?
