Autonomous Ship Project Team

This project team establishes safety evaluation technology for maritime autonomous surface ships (MASS), develops a ship handling simulator for safety evaluation, establishes simulation technology for function evaluation of MASS, develops automatic berthing/unberthing technology, and investigates and studies machine vision. In addition, this project team promotes social implementation of the results by developing a strategy and business model for realizing MASS.
